91st Psalm Christian School Awards Dress Code

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is our heart and desire that our students display Christ-like character in all they do, including their attire. Modest clothing is part of our expectations for all of our school sponsored awards and celebration events. Since students, parents, and the school may have differing views of modesty and appropriate attire, below are the school’s expectations for appropriate dress for school sponsored events. 

The dress attire is as follows:

Gentlemen:

1. Dress pants/slacks (no jeans, t-shirts, or shorts) collared shirt, and dress shoes

2. Suit, tie, or sport coats are optional

3. No oversized clothing hanging below mid-waist

Ladies:

1. Dresses, skirts, or dress pants outfit - with a dressy blouse/top, (no jeans, no shorts, no capri's).  (Dresses or skirts must be at the knee, when sitting or standing.)

2. Dress shoes

Some “No's” - (You will not be allowed on the stage with these):

1. No short dresses or skirts above the knee (you are on an elevated stage!)

2. No low-cut dresses or tops

3. No slits in dresses or skirts that go above the knee

4. No tight fitting dresses, skirts, or pants

5. No flip flops (dressy open-toe shoes are allowed)
