Assalaam Mu Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,
It is very sad to announce the passing of Br. Marcos Alcaide, brother of Henry Enrique. This brother was a resident of London, Ontario with family in Sarnia. He was also a recent convert to Islam. Just for everyone's information, this is a non-COVID related death.
"To him we belong and to him we shall return"
إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Due to Covid restrictions we will have 3 separate Salat-ul-Janazas' of 10 people each, at the SMA Mosque. The first will begin at 5:15pm pm followed by the second at 5:25pm and the third at 5:35pm. InshahAllah the burial will take place around 6pm at the Resurrection Cemetery on London Line, Sarnia where the maximum number of people allowed to attend is 10.
To accommodate immediate family and friends of the deceased, we are not encouraging community members to attend the burial.
At the Mosque, pre-screening questions will be asked and names with phone numbers will be recorded of the attendees for contact tracing purposes.
Some reminders are as follows:
- Bring your mask and wear it at all times
- Bring your own prayer mat
- Ensure 2m social distancing
- Use hand sanitizers at the Mosque entrance
We ask Allah SWT to shower His Mercy mercy on Br. Marcos and give sabr e Jameel to his family (Ameen). Please remember him in your duas.
