The 2025 LA2050 Grants Challenge is launching soon, and we need your help!
📣
We’re looking for LA-based organizations to serve as Outreach Partners and spread the word about voting in this year's LA2050 Grants Challenge – where YOU help decide how more than $1 million in grants will shape LA’s future!
Voting will take place online from March 12th to April 18th, 2025.
To ensure our process is representative, it is crucial we engage as many people of all backgrounds across LA as possible. That's where Outreach Partners come in!
Plus, the organization that engages the most voters will also be awarded a special prize: lunch for up to 20 staff, on us!

|
You are also invited to an optional Information Session for Outreach Partners, via Zoom, on Thursday, March 6th at 10:30 am or Monday, March 10th at 12:00 pm.

KATIE BRANDON | Executive Director, Pasadena Village
My favorite Los Angeles places and spaces...
PLAY: LA Arboretum is my favorite place for an early morning walk especially when the plumeria grove is in bloom.
CREATE: A Noise Within Theatre has engaging productions - and beautifully curated costume design - and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. They also partner on literary events and one-off performances that you shouldn’t miss either.
CONNECT: If you are fortunate enough to be an aging-in-place older adult, Pasadena Village is an amazing way to connect with active, interesting people through peer-led gatherings.
LEARN: My favorite resource for lifelong learning is the Pasadena Public Library. With the Main Branch closed for seismic retrofit, my favorite locations are Lamanda Park and Hastings.
LIVE: A trip to either of Pasadena’s Farmers’ Markets always makes my day. Stock up on fresh produce, and don’t miss the pastries and tamales on Saturdays at Victory Park or Tuesdays at Villa Park. (Pasadena Villagers use Dial-a-Ride, AKA the party bus, or can request a free volunteer-provided ride to avoid the parking hassles at either location.)
