In 2025 the Reynella Scout Group will be producing an optional polo shirt for all youth and adult members to wear during weekend activities and events. In 2024 we asked families to submit designs for the polo shirts, and here are the top five designs.

Please vote for your favourite and we will announce the winning design in April.

REVIEW:
26th Australian Jamboree (AJ2025)
In Maryborough, Queensland

Every three years, Scouts have the opportunity to attend an Australian Jamboree where they join ten thousand other young people and adult volunteers from around Australia and across the world for a ten day camp. The 26th Australian Jamboree (AJ2025) was held in Maryborough, Queensland from 6th to15th January 2025.

The Reynella Scout Group had eight Scout and two adult participants in AJ2025. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing their reviews of the event.
From Oliver SP (Scout):

At Jamboree, I did several activities, such as abseiling, snorkelling, playing cards with friends and overall just enjoying the experience.

My favourite activity was easily the one called “Your Summit”, where we did climbing, ziplining, abseiling, and crate stacking. I really enjoyed this one because I find myself really enjoying things like that, climbing, parasailing - it’s just so fun to ascend.

I met a bunch of new people; 7 from New Zealand, 2 from Canada and 3 from England.

I had what could possibly be the best experience of my life. I have so many beautiful memories.
