We're excited to announce the 60 social impact organizations receiving a total of almost $3 million in grant funding via this year’s LA2050 Grants Challenge.
Most importantly, these organizations are making an impact on the issues YOU care most about!

Each year, the Goldhirsh Foundation grants $1 million to organizations creating a brighter future for Los Angeles through the Grants Challenge.
But, thanks to our generous funding partners, we tripled the total amount this year! We're so grateful to the Annenberg Foundation, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Snap Foundation, John N. Calley Foundation, Elbaz Family Foundation, R & S Kayne Foundation, and Fox Foundation for their support.
This is our biggest cohort of grant winners ever, and we look forward to partnering with all of them to shape Los Angeles for the better.

|

|
Yesterday, more than 100 social impact leaders gathered at the Hammer Museum for the third annual LA2050 Grantee Showcase – the culmination of this year's Grants Challenge – to honor and encourage the 60 nonprofits receiving grants.
Jessica Yellin, founder of the nonprofit News Not Noise, served as emcee. Speakers included Michael D. Smith, CEO of AmeriCorps; LA County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis; California State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas; Lucia Knell, co-author of the best-selling book, Upworthy – GOOD PEOPLE; and representatives of this year's funding partners. Plus, a special video from Chief Service Officer for the State of California Josh Fryday.
We'll share more from the event soon!
