‘breathe.’ opening features Atlanta Art Week talk

We invite you to join us Monday, Sept. 30, for the opening events to celebrate our newest exhibition, “breathe.,” which features images of Georgia landscapes where important moments in civil rights history transpired, reimagined as places of peace, relaxation, and meditation.

The Atlanta-based photographer, Sheila Pree Bright, will be in conversation with exhibition curator Andi McKenzie (who is also the curator of Works on Paper at the Carlos Museum). The talk is part of Atlanta Art Week and begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Jones Room, followed by an opening ceremony at 7:45 p.m. and reception.

These events are open to the public at no charge.
