Greetings, Picnic Hill Create Community!

This month is going to be off to a great start with World Cardmaking Day on Saturday, October 5th! Join us for the biggest sale of the year on stamps, dies, stencils, and other card-making materials and supplies. In-store sale runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Online sale is from 4:15 pm to 9 pm. In addition to the sale, you won’t want to miss a chance to catch up with other crafters during the Card Make-a-Thon and the Expert in the House demonstration.

World Cardmaking Day

Join us for a fun-filled card-making day! Stop by to shop and/or make cards for your stash or to donate to Cards for Cubs (foster kids) or Lincoln-area veterans.

Who: All crafters, chocolate lovers, and card makers. No registration necessary.

EXPERT IN THE HOUSE

Yes! Katie Pertiet, designer with 49 & Market, will be joining us via Zoom from Noon to 1 pm on Saturday, October 5th, to show some techniques of mixed media in card making. We’ll have the chance to ask her questions as we craft along with her.

NEW CRICUT CLASS

Write, Draw and More with Your Cricut

Did you know your Cricut machine can write words and draw images using pens and markers? Imagine having your Cricut do the work of addressing envelopes, write journaling for your scrapbooks and draw cute personalized gift tags. Let veteran instructor Veronica Rosman show how this underestimated Cricut feature can benefit your daily life, just in time for the holidays. The best part? Supplies are included. This class is suitable for the Cricut Joy, Cricut Explore series, Maker and Maker 3 machines. Students need to bring their machine, a computer, cords, mat and any Cricut pens (must work with your specific machine) they may already own. Instructor will also have pens available to use. Please make sure you have the most current version of Design Space installed and an active Cricut Design Space Access subscription is required for this class. Some Design Space experience is also necessary for this class.
