HOW & WHERE DO I VOTE?

Polling locations can often change, make sure you verify you polling location before Election Day so you know exactly where to go! Polls will be open from 8am to 8pm on November 5th.

It is also important to verify your voter registration prior to Election Day! Idaho allows voters to register to vote at the polls. Do you need to register for the first time? Or re-register after moving or changing you name?

If you need to register at the polls make sure you know exactly what to bring with you.

Supporting Patricia Nilsson
Certain parts of Ada County will be voting in the Ada County Highway District elections this year. A handful of precincts in District 19, the East End and Harris Ranch areas, will see a this race on your ballot. In this election I am supporting Patricia Nilsson in the ACHD District 1 race. Patricia's experience and planning knowledge will benefit us in District 19 and Ada County.

WHAT ABOUT THAT CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

ON THE BALLOT?

THE ONE ABOUT ONLY CITIZENS CAN VOTE?

Last session the Republicans introduced and passed HJR005, a bill to declare that only US citizens can vote in an election.

I voted against it in the Senate because it's redundant and done solely as a political stunt for elections.  The constitution already states that only US citizens can vote. With all the anti-immigration rhetoric, this did nothing but provide an expensive campaign platform, at taxpayer expense, for many Republicans trying to appeal to certain voters who are afraid of immigrants coming to our country and fueling myths about "open borders."

We need to be better stewards of public funds. It is inexcusable to use the Senate chamber as a campaign platform.
A RISING TIDE LIFTS ALL SHIPS -- SINCERE THANKS

Thank you all for supporting my campaign AND supporting so many other candidates that are working hard to protect our Democratic values and fight against the extremism that is recking our state.

As the chair of the Idaho Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, we have raised more this cycle than ever to protect Democratic seats in our most contested races and support candidates working hard in ruby red districts through the Sue Chew Pioneer Push program.

As John F. Kennedy said,  “a rising tide lifts all boats.”  It takes a team and I want to thank you for supporting me and other Democrats in this upcoming election.
