Heat Networks in Action Event | Aberdeen


Join the Heatsource team in Aberdeen to explore heat networks and how Aberdeen City Council are working collaboratively with suppliers to deliver multiple schemes across the city.

Speakers include representatives from the Scottish Government, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Heat and Power, and Vital Energi discussing the £25 million Torry District Heat Scheme. 
 
Attendees can also engage in discussions on overcoming barriers to heat network adoption in major Scottish cities followed by a networking drinks reception to connect and address specific opportunities and challenges.

On 6th November we have a panel discussion on 'Breaking the barriers to heat pumps at scale,' in the afternoon of the BE-ST Fest '24 Summit, alongside Scottish Power, Nesta and Energy Training Academy. Afterwards there is the opportunity to Meet the Enterprise Agencies who support us, including Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise.

On 7th November we have a session 'Demystifying Electric Heating' at the International Retrofit Conference, alongside Connected Response, Flexel, Sunamp, and Electric Heating Company.
