Order your Christmas cards now and help save the countryside
We continue our ongoing fight to protect the Hertfordshire countryside which, I’m sure you know, is under immense pressure. Can you please help by purchasing our charity Christmas cards?
Everyone enjoys receiving a card at Christmas time, and every penny of profit from our cards goes directly to funding our work to protect and promote the local countryside. Our cards are unique Hertfordshire designs, all by our local members and supporters.
A pack of 5 of one design is £3.50 – just 70p per card.
A mixed pack of 10 randomly assorted designs offers even better value, £6.00 – just 60p per card.

Guided Walk - an update on the Whitwell to Luton walk

CPRE Hertfordshire, the countryside charity, led a guided walk from the village of Whitwell, through the beautiful fields of Green Belt countryside following the flightpath to Luton airport on Sunday 29th September 2024. A write up by Kruna Vukmirovic, Trustee of CPRE Hertfordshire, can be found on our website along with some pictures of the day.
We have long campaigned against the expansion of Luton airport due to its unacceptable impacts on the countryside, the environment, local people and communities, and climate change. This walk was an opportunity to see and discuss these impacts with other like-minded people.
Details of our Spring Guided walk, and how to book, will be published on our website shortly.
CPRE Hertfordshire campaigns for a better future for the Hertfordshire countryside. We work locally to protect, promote and enhance the countryside for everyone to value and enjoy. Founded in 1928, CPRE Hertfordshire is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and registered charity (1162419).
