NIAGARA FALLS CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT FUND [NFCDF]
The NFCDF is an annual fund for local projects to take place between March and February of each year. Project proposals can range from exhibitions to events, walking tours, workshops, panel discussions, lectures, public programs, art installations, project or concept development, heritage-related ideas, community celebrations, interactive experiences and performances. We encourage participatory and co-created projects, and collaborative partnerships between organizations, collectives and individuals. Up to $10,000.INFO
EXCHANGE GALLERY SUBMISSIONS
Attention Artists! The Gallery at the Exchange is a 17’ x 11’ white cube space for rent, located on the second floor near the artist studios. The fee for a Collective or Solo show is $250 for one month. Openings are held by the City on the 1st Friday of each month and a bar and DJ are supplied.+ INFOAPPLICATIONS OPEN FOR ARTIST STUDIOS
Applications are reviewed bi-annually and will be reviewed end November for February + occupancy. The studios offer competitive rates for artists and makers to create visual arts. They are high-quality spaces conducive to artists' needs in terms of ceiling heights, lighting, ventilation, freight elevator, finishing areas, some tools, fume hood, washing station and disposal area. WOODWORKING SHOP MEMBERSHIP
The woodworking studio is located on the Exchange's main floor, prioritizing creating an accessible creator space for the community. It provides anyone interested in woodworking with the materials and tools required to complete projects. It is a space for amateur woodworkers to explore their potential. It also provides space for those who have downsized their tools and woodworking area to get reintroduced to woodworking, and it provides creators with the equipment to produce work that can be sold. The space is staffed by skilled woodworkers who can assist in projects and run workshops for new and experienced woodworkers. DETAILS

The Culture Committee's Purpose is to foster, develop and unite artistic and cultural activities in the community. Through the Arts & Culture Wall of Fame initiative the community has the opportunity to celebrate the many outstanding accomplishments of its past and present citizens. This year we will be inducting the following residents for their contributions locally, nationally and internationally for their work in the arts:Brighton Rock, Evergon, Denise Matthews and Wendy Leard. The Gallery Exchange Project in the Niagara Falls Exchange provides the atrium space to local art galleries, in exchange for hosting the Exchange’s studio artists. Over the last 6 years, the mayor has hosted a Christmas & Holiday Card Art-Design Contest for elementary school students from grades 1-8 in Niagara Falls. This exhibit showcases the 9 selected winners from the Christmas & Holiday Art-Design Contest 2024 as well as 21 honourable mentions which display a high level of creativity and artistry. The Exchange and Garden City Comedy Festival are excited to present "Niagara Laughs", a premier comedy series showcasing some of Canada's top talent. Headlining our inaugural event is none other than one of the countries most loved entertainers Seán Cullen!
This hilarious evening will also feature a stacked lineup of comedic performers, including Ronnie Edwards, Levi Mann, and Deanna Jones and will be hosted by David Green.

VICTORIA LIBRARY: ROSBERG GALLERY Celebrating Victoria Avenue's 50th Anniversary
NFPL invites the community to an Open House on Saturday, November 23 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Victoria Avenue location.
Those who remember Victoria Avenue when it first opened will enjoy reminiscing about the past and anyone new to the area can learn more about how the library looked back when it first opened.
An exhibit in the Rosberg Gallery will showcase photos of both the library and Niagara Falls from the 1970s. Special Local History presentations will dive even deeper into the history of our city. There will be fun activities at several stations located throughout the library - including a special puppet show from Carousel Players. Anyone, no matter how young or old, can take part in remixing art, making buttons, and more. INFO
