| Carpentries Clippings, 31 October |
| | | | | | This month we express our gratitude to Aleksandra Nenadic, who received a Training and Education Award at #RSECon24 last month as "an individual who is excelling at training and education, whether that is delivering training courses or writing the material." When presenting the award, the session host made several mentions of Aleks' contributions to The Carpentries community over the years, including her roles as Instructor Trainer, Lesson Developer Trainer, Instructor, Regional Coordinator coordinating the UK Carpentries community, and lead organiser of CarpentryConnect Manchester 2019.
Well done Aleks, and thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for The Carpentries community! |

The Carpentries Websites and Handbooks relaunch!
We are in the final preparation stages to relaunch on November 18th the new versions of our main and lesson program websites! This is exciting news for us and the community. The theme and layout of the current Carpentries website have not been updated since 2018, and the themes for the lesson program websites are even older and have not been updated in many years. Read more about some of the changes to expect from the new websites.
After the relaunch of the websites, we will shift our focus to the relaunch of the community Handbooks on December 9th!
Stay tuned! |
