86TH CONVENTION OF THE PACIFIC COAST SLAVIC BAPTIST ASSOCIATION

Another one of the Association’s conventions is now in the eternal chronicles of time! Two days went by as a single moment! Friday evening and the entire day Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m., we were on a very tight schedule being accounted for to the minute! There was the business meeting, seminars, photoshoots, an evening service… and another spiritually edifying convention is now over!

If you were not able to attend the convention but would like to access the resources, to watch the video recordings and see photos, you can still do so by visiting the website of the convention, which can be located at this link. You will be able to find a lot of great things there. More details about the convention will be included in next month’s newsletter.

We look forward to the next convention in 2025, if the Lord extends our life until then!

YOU SHALL BE MY WITNESSES …EVEN TO THE REMOTEST PARTS OF THE EARTH

The kingdom of Jesus Christ is expanding and growing, not only through local churches, but also through the partnership and involvement of various churches of a given country, and in some cases on different continents. That is exactly what happened in Sydney, Australia. As a response to the invitation by the local Slavic church in Sydney, the pastor of Grace Family Church and his wife were able to take part in their life and ministry. For the very first time, because of the efforts of a Slavic association of churches in Australia, they were able to have a youth camp. There were a few small groups from various regions of Australia who were able to meet together and study the Word of God. More details…

CHURCH AND SOCIAL MEDIA – NEW CHALLENGES AND NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Apparently, when it comes to the use of social media to spread the Gospel to people around us, the Christians of the post-Soviet Union generation are ahead of Slavic Christians in the U.S. What hasn’t been accomplished by numerous attempts by the PCSBA was achieved by the Evangelical Baptist Union in Moldova. They had their very first conference for those who are serving in the information ministry. The conference had 80 representatives from various regions of the country who are engaged in marketing the churches online through social media, websites, chatrooms, video channels, as well as those who assist in live streaming the church services. NEWS FROM AROUND THE WORLD

TO CHANGE THE WORLD, CHRISTIANS NEED TO WORK HARD!

More and more people in the U.S. are expressing their disapproval for what is happening in their country, its laws, and the government, but at the same time, they are not taking advantage of their rights and many opportunities to make a difference. A well-known Christian organization, Family Policy Alliance (FPA), has made it their purpose to transform the U.S. into a country that honors God, has a thriving religious freedom, and values life and family. On their website, the FPA states that there are approximately 32 million Christians who will not go out to vote this year. The FPA is trying to change that and is calling for everyone to join in prayer for our country, and to vote for the candidate who is the most consistent with God’s views. For more about this, read at the FPA website. If you would like to join this prayer movement organized by the FPA, click this link.
