City of Niagara Falls PD Day Programs
Let's have some fun!

The City of Niagara Falls will host a variety of programs for kids and families to enjoy on the upcoming PD Day, Friday, November 29. The MacBain Community Centre, Niagara Falls History Museum and Gale Centre Arena all have something to offer.

Birds of Prey with Mountsberg Conservation
Niagara Falls Exchange 
 
Mountsberg Raptor Centre, an education facility that houses both Ontario native and non-native birds of prey, will visit the Museum with a few of its winged ambassadors. Join these live birds to learn more about their biology, human impacts on wildlife, and positive actions guests can take in their lives to benefit animals and the environment. The show will be hosted in The Exchange, located directly behind the Museum.
  • When: Two shows are running: 
    • 11 am - noon
    • 1 pm - 2 pm
  • Who: All ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Price: $5 per person or free for Members
  • Register on ActiveNet, 11 am show, 1 pm show
After the show, explore the Museum galleries and complete a scavenger hunt.

MacBain Community Centre

Join us for a hands-on art workshop hosted by the Niagara Falls Art Gallery at the MacBain Community Centre! Participants will be guided through creating their own clay artwork. 

There are two classes:

The only thing participants need to bring is their imagination!

Drop-In Badminton
  • When: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
  • Price: $5 per person / $10 per family
Drop-In Basketball
  • When: 4:15 pm - 8:45 pm 
  • Price: $5 per person / $10 per family
Drop-In Table Tennis
  • When: 1:00 pm - 8:45 pm
  • Price: $5 per person / $10 per family
Indoor Playground
  • When: 8:30 am - 8:30 pm
  • Who: Ages 4 - 12 (parent supervision required)
  • Price: $7 per person / $15 per family
Day Passes available: For only $10 per child, $15 per adult, and $25 per family, you can access all the great drop-in programs, including the pool and pay structure.

Grab your skates and head to the Gale Centre Arena (5152 Thorold Stone Road) this PD Day!

Skate times include:
  • Public Skating: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
  • Youth Stick & Puck: 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm

Have some fun at the library on your day off from school! Board games, crafts, obstacle challenges.
