Join Out There on our final walk of the year, this upcoming Saturday, December 28st *@1pm* as we walk along the always scenic Bunn's Creek.
We will meet in the parking lot just off Henderson Hwy and Knowles (between the crosswalk and the Red River) across Henderson from Knowles Centre (2090 Henderson Hwy). We will gather *beginning at 12:45pm, and depart at 1pm sharp*. The earlier time is to counteract the early sunset.
This is an out and back trail of 6km, with an opportunity to turn back early for a 4km walk. Expect a walk of 1.5 to 2 hours. Cost: A loonie donation to Out There is requested. Registration?: No. Simply meet us in the parking lot. Parking: If the lot fills, parking can be found along Henderson Bus: The #11 runs in both directions and stops at Knowles. Trail: The warm weather might leave some slushy spots, but the trail is well travelled and should be fine Weather: The forecast is currently for mild weather and light winds. It should be perfect for a walk Poochers?: Provided they stay on leash and can match our pace: Absolutely! Guests: This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ event. Guests should be community members or allies.
