Share the project(s) your Pack, Troop or Crew has done this year to benefit our community.
Learn about the local organizations eager to accept help from our children, youth and families!
Discuss what types of service inspire today's youth

2) 1st Annual Chili Cookoff Think your family chili recipe will knock everyone's socks off? Show off your culinary skills and compete with the best at this month's Roundtable!

Everyone is invited to compete and attend! Please share with your units - the more the tastier!
Top 3 chili contestants by popular vote will receive prizes and bragging rights!

Please spread the word among your fellow registered adult volunteers and those parents whom you’d like to engage in these topics. Roundtable is an open forum for all to share - come join the RSJ Roundtable family and share the Scouting Fellowship!

NOMINATIONS FOR 2024 ADULT LEADER AWARDS ARE OPEN! Adult leaders are the most valuable asset of any unit, so make sure to recognize your best and brightest this year. Submit your nominations for District Award of Merit, Leader of the Year, and Unit Exceptional Scouter by Dec 1. Find out how on our website here.

DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS

⚜️ Scouting Irvine Open House - Thu Dec 5 (formerly known as "Webelos Transition Fair") We're moving our December Roundtable a week earlier to make space for the holidays, and will also welcome interested youth from Scout-O-Rama to connect with RSJ units.
🖐️ Volunteer to assist with District events (e.g. District Dinner) or join a standing committee (e.g. Civic Activities & Service, Eagle Coaches, Fundraising, Recruiting, Roundtables, Training, Unit Commisioner Service).
🗓️ Access our updated 2024-25 District Calendar here. Several 2025 council dates have been added and district conflicts resolved. It's a key tool for Annual Planning!

COUNCIL PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Day of Service Patches are available to be ordered now! The 2024 Day of Service was on Nov 2, but any project that occurs in the month of November counts towards this annual event. Register your service project and order your Scout patches through this page anytime through November 30.
