America Decided.
Join us this Saturday to talk about Election Results (and more)!

So we knew the winner sooner than expected, and whether you are disappointed or excited, for most Americans, the sweeping win that brings Donald Trump back to the White House was surprising. He won all of the swing states and the popular vote, negating most polls that showed the race much closer. Republicans also gained back the Senate and are projected to have an edge in the House of Representatives. How are you feeling?! We have a very timely Roundtable Discussion scheduled for this Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 am until noon where we will talk about election results and more, like how you're dealing with the possible stress of upcoming holidays and perhaps college admissions. Is peer pressure at school an issue? What about bullying? Is climate change affecting your life, or is that someone else's problem, or no one's? What's the cell phone policy at your school? Is it a good one?
Come join us at Crossroads this Saturday morning and we'll talk about whatever is on the minds of all in attendance. Our Roundtable Discussions are always thought-provoking--and lots of fun! We'll have snacks and beverages available. We hope to see you there!

We would also like to continue collecting your written thoughts about the election for the Student Blog. We are keeping the Google form open where you can write about how this election and its results might impact you and your family and friends. You have the option of remaining anonymous when we post your thoughts on the Civitas blog. You may have so much to say that you want to discuss the election on Saturday AND write your opinions for the blog.
