The 2025 Western Regional IDeA Conference (WRIC) is a forum for biomedical scientists to exchange knowledge with their colleagues regarding the most recent research in the NIH IDeA Western Region. The Western IDeA states are Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Wyoming. WRIC encompasses oral and poster scientific sessions, keynote talks, professional development workshops, and information-sharing sessions with NIH officials.

The goal of the meeting is to provide a forum where biomedical students, scientists, and administrators will share knowledge and establish or strengthen collaborations towards building a dynamic and resilient biomedical research and training network. We are excited to highlight work in the IDeA Western Region INBRE, COBRE, and CTR programs.

Visit the FAQ section of the event website for information regarding hotel, airfare discounts, and activities in the Anchorage area.
