A student that came a built a guitar with me last year in September just sent me this comment about his experience.

"Building a guitar in 6 days with you was awesome!   The guitar is great and everyone loves how it sounds and plays.   BUT - seeing how your shop was setup, learning and updating the skill set on how to work and what to use to complete the process has been a huge bonus.   I've made multiple revisions and additions to my shop since I got home.   Today, as I finally resume a restoration on a 1935 Martin OOO-18, with new tools, new shop layout and O'Brien techniques and tips -  I feel much more into the woodworker and luthier mindset.   I got a new pile of assorted wood just sitting here waiting to go!  Thanks for all of it!!!"    Jeff Knorr - Michigan

 
 

Jeff and his friend Ron, are both from Michigan and are both dentists. Let's just say their level of precision is a bit higher than most students and they are used to working with their hands. We had a fun week and exchange emails often about what is on our benches.
