Tree trimming and holiday music at Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site
BISMARCK, N.D. – The community is invited to the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site in Bismarck Saturday, Dec. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. to decorate the Christmas tree with hand-crafted ornaments. Craft supplies will be available to make ornaments for tree trimmings. Cookies and hot cider will be served.
The festivities will continue at 7 p.m. with a short Christmas music performance by siblings Chloe and Chanson Poffenberger, students of the Bismarck Public Schools Orchestra. Attendees can enjoy the sounds of the season and support these young local musicians as they share their gift of music.
Both activities are free and open to all ages.
