We urgently need your help to reach our goal for the Coats & Cocoa event! Please donate clean, gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and boots to keep our community warm this winter.

Deadline: Friday, November 22
Drop-Off Location: Front entrance of Columbine Elementary

Donations will be distributed during the Coats & Cocoa event on November 22, right after school. Families will have the opportunity to pick up warm clothing at no cost.

🎶 Mark Your Calendar for the Choir Concert! 🎶

Join us for a special Columbine-only concert on Thursday, December 12th, organized by the PTA’s Enrichment Team, led by Tanya Jones.

Families, arrive between 1:45 and 2:00 PM and head to the Columbine Elementary School auditorium.
The performance starts at 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of the students’ hard work this semester.

💡 Help Needed for the Celebration 💡

We need volunteers to record the concert for families who can’t attend, assist on the day of the event, or provide snacks and drinks. Sign up here: SignUp Genius.

🐸 Volunteers Needed: Student of the Month Celebration 🐸
We’re looking for volunteers for the upcoming Student of the Month celebration on Friday, November 22, from 8:15 - 9:00 AM and 2:45 - 3:15 PM. Volunteers will help greet and direct parents to the cafeteria, set up and tear down refreshments, and assist in lining up families on the stage to celebrate with their students.

🎵 Winter/Spring Choir Registration is Open! 🎵

Choir continues this winter/spring with rehearsals on Thursdays, January 16 to May 8, 1:45–2:45 PM. Register here: Choir Registration. Fees are $115/child, with financial support and scholarships available. Early registration is open for current choir families—school-wide registration begins next week! 🎭 Shakespeare Enrichment Needs Volunteers! 🎭

The Shakespeare enrichment program, led by Alaina Bupp and Toya Echard, is already bringing the Bard to life for students. Starting in January, we’ll need volunteer group coaches to help support this engaging program. Stay tuned for details on how you can get involved!

This month, we continue to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Native peoples across the U.S., including the original inhabitants of this land and Alaska Natives. It’s a time to reflect on their resilience, celebrate their rich traditions, and learn about the challenges they continue to face. Let's take this opportunity to recognize their lasting impact on our shared history and foster understanding in our community.

Passive giving is a low-effort, no additional cost way for you to donate to the PTA.
