Snow painting scheduled at Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site


BISMARCK, N.D. – The public is invited to a fun-filled snow painting event at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site in Bismarck on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1-4 p.m. Unleash your creativity on a snowy canvas using vibrant, eco-friendly paints. This outdoor activity is perfect way to enjoy winter’s beauty and celebrate Vinterfest. Bundle up and join us for this colorful winter adventure.

The event is free, and hot cider and cookies will be served. All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. In the event of extreme cold or lack of snow, a snow-themed craft will be available inside the mansion.

The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 E. Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The Former Governors’ Mansion is open by appointment and 1-5 p.m. the second combined Friday and Saturday.
