It was a rainy Saturday in Ventura at our monthly dog adoption event at Sailor and
Friends Pet Supply. Nevertheless, we persevered. Our fur babies in attendance were
Jack, Nellie, Ramen, Marigold (aka Raven), Jasper, Lexi and Louie. Led by our amazing
leader Toni, were Christina, Sue, Brenda, Jose and Kathy. We donated an unused cage
to a homeless family for their kitty. Also, we trimmed the nails of a fur baby owned by a
homeless man. We received $150 in donations from others and the best part was that
Jack found his forever home. He got adopted! I am so happy for him. He is such a great
dog. A special thank-you to Terry for making that happen. The new parents went inside
to purchase a harness for him. Marnie has a great store. We all had a great time. We
will return again Saturday December 7, 2024 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. Santa Claus
will be there. We hope to see you there, too!

Sunday was an exciting day. Parker and Jasper both made their first appearance at Skunkmasters. We also had Stella Luna who has really mellowed out since her first time. Parker loved going on walks with Shelbie and Jasper managed to get the bag of treats out of the bag. Ha! Thank you to Shelbie for transporting Parker & Jasper.

We will be back Sunday, January 5th, 2025. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Recycling Fundraiser

Please Remember To Recycle For The CARL Dogs!

We need your help. Please remember to recycle for the CARL dogs. The money we raise helps the dogs in so many ways. Many things have been funded through our recycling program. We have been able to purchase dog house heaters for the winter and misters for the summer months. We have been able to buy food for special needs dogs, provide medical, help sponsor dogs and much needed maintenance to the kennels to keep our dogs safe and happy. But we need your help as we can do so much more if you donate your recyclables.

Please separate your plastic bottles and aluminum cans and bring to the kennel. If you are unable to bring to the kennel, we can make arrangements to pick them up. You can also bring your recyclables to the CARL Boutique Thrift Store. What is good for the environment is also good for the dogs:)
