13th Sabbath Offering | Bethel Adventist Church
This quarter's 13th Sabbath Offering on December 28 goes in part to support the expansion of the Bethel Adventist Church, a critical hub of the Arctic Mission Adventure ministry. The church is in desperate need of expansion and restoration to become a hub to reach the people of Bethel and surrounding villages. Part of this quarter's Thirteenth Sabbath Offering will help share God’s love to the people in Bethel, Alaska. Your offering also will help two other projects — in St. Louis, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland — in the North American Division.

Children's Ministry Survey
The Alaska Conference is working to strengthen its Children's Ministry program. Director John Winslow, along with regional church leaders, are trying to identify active ministry throughout the state and need your help. If your church has a children's ministry leader, we are asking them to complete a quick survey. From the results, local leaders will be connected to their designated regional leader as a resource and mentor. Thank you for your assistance!

Miracles of Jesus
The Wrangell Adventist Church's annual week of prayer, Miracles of Jesus aired on KWRG 99.9 November 24-30, 2024. As the church is without a pastor, members look for creative ways to have sermons that don’t involve watching prerecorded speakers. Over several months Elders Marlin Benedict and Brooke Reynolds shared with the congregation a couple of miracles each month including the the miraculous catch of fish, the Centurion, and the crippled woman. The congregation was then invited to share what they learned about God from these miracles. This was used to create the Miracles of Jesus series for the 2024 Week of Prayer. Marlin and Brooke anchored the 20 minute episodes by sharing from the Bible and what had been learned during the series at the church.

Coping With Holiday Stress
Ah, the holidays. We can picture it: The air is crisp, maybe there’s snow dusting your lawn, the fire is crackling and your house smells like a mixture of hot apple cider and freshly-baked bread. And what is that? Oh, it’s the sparkling clean kitchen that you had time to sanitize before your visitors arrive for the meal that you prepared. All of your guests arrive on time, each bearing warm hugs and even warmer desserts (mmm, pie) — and everyone praises your healthier take on broccoli casserole.
