Description
Native to China, Korea, Russia and Mongolia, Baikal Skullcap is a durable perennial plant with thick, twisted roots. The plant has been an important ingredient in Tibetan, Mongol, Chinese medicine, Ayurveda as well Russian herbal healing. History

True to its name, the plant has been favorite ingredient of Mongol and Buryat shamans living in taiga around lake Baikal.
