January Holiday Updates

In observance of the New Year holiday and Inauguration Day/Martin Luther King, Jr. Day the Duke Street Pedestrian Tunnel will be closed and the Carlyle shuttle service will not operate on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 and Monday, January 20, 2025.

Carlyle Council is dedicated to helping its residents and employees live a balanced and healthy lifestyle by contributing to the cost of your Capital Bikeshare annual membership.

That means an $95 annual membership is FREE for those who live or work in Carlyle.

Ready to ride? Here is what you need to do:
  1. Go to thecarlylecouncil.com and visit our Capital Bikeshare page under the 'Explore' tab.
  2. Fill out our membership form.
  3. Receive your free membership code via email.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Program

The City of Alexandria has honored Martin Luther King Jr. with a memorial program since 1973. The program is sponsored by the City of Alexandria in cooperation with local religious, spiritual, civic, and social organizations.

The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra presents Gold Rush: An American Musical Adventure!
