It has been so inspiring to see Angelenos come together in the midst of such devastation. 

We are continuing to update our two support guides highlighting emergency resources for those impacted and ways to help – including active volunteer opportunities and donation drives.

Food Programs and Basic Needs Support 
  • Disaster CalFresh is a program that provides immediate food assistance for victims of natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, or fires
  • The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank is working with government agencies, nonprofit and faith-based partners and others to respond to the fires throughout Los Angeles County
  • Westside Foodbank has organized a map and list of free food distribution from 60 partner agencies on the front lines of social services and hunger relief

If you would like to support communities by the wildfires and first responders, below are some opportunities featured in the guide:
 
Financial Contributions
Essential Item Donations
  • DWC – Looking for N95 masks, backpacks, dufflebags, body wash or soap, new underwear, new bras, new or gently worn clothing
  • Flintridge Center – Looking for shelf-stable and nonperishable food items and hygiene items
  • Union Station Homeless Services – Looking for bottled water, N95 masks, non-perishable food items, non-perishable toiletries, meals, baby formula and food, disposable utensils, plates, and cups
