"Winter Crafts" scheduled at North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum
BISMARCK, N.D. – The public is invited to "Winter Crafts" Monday, Jan. 20, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. Make traditional crafts and learn about ways Scandinavians shaped the cultural heritage of the state.
Artisans have passed down their expertise from one generation to the next. Use traditional techniques such as rosemaling and paper cutting to make a craft to take home, or create a charming pinecone gnome. Materials will be provided. All ages are welcome, and activities will be modified for different age groups.
