As we embark on 2025, we've taken a moment to reflect on the highlights of 2024, detailed in our 2024 Annual Report. We look forward to building on our mission to accelerate the social impact of individuals through teaching; accelerate the understanding of social impact through research, and accelerate the impact of social ventures through 100x.
This month we are honoured to welcome Mark Malloch Brown to LSE as a Visiting Professor in Practice. With his career spanning the United Nations, IMF, and UK Government, he brings a wealth of experience and insights to our community.
In world news, the Patriotic Millionaires group have shared a survey of 2,000 millionaires that revealed over half think that extreme wealth is a threat to Democracy. And a coalition of non-profits and US States have filed a lawsuit to attempt to halt President Trump's executive order to pause already-approved Federal funding for aid.
