Dear <<First Name>>,

Amber Community is excited to announce the launch of the 12th annual Shine a Light on Road Safety campaign!

This inspiring month-long initiative will run for the entire month of May, uniting Victorians across cities and regional areas to advocate for safer roads and support those affected by road trauma.

Join us at the Walk & Wheel in Melbourne

We’re kicking off with our annual community Walk & Wheel at Albert Park Lake on Sunday 4 May 2025. Whether you walk, wheel, or push a pram, this event brings us together to honour lives lost and unite in support of road safety.

- Location: Palms Lawn, Albert Park Lake
- Registration opens: 10:00 AM
- Pre-Walk & Wheel proceedings: 11:00 AM
- Walk & Wheel start time: 11:30 AM

With inspiring guest speakers, this promises to be a meaningful and positive experience, and we hope you get a lot out of the day.

Fundraise Your Way

This year, we’re inviting you to make an even greater impact through the Fundraise Your Way initiative. Whether you host a bake sale, organise a local walk, or take on a personal fitness challenge, your efforts will help us reach our goal of $107,000, which will, which will support the continued delivery of free counselling, education, and peer-support services for those impacted by road trauma.

A statewide commitment to road safety

On Friday 2 May, show your support by turning on your headlights, a simple yet powerful gesture to raise awareness. During National Road Safety Week, 11–18 May, landmarks across Victoria will glow yellow as a reminder of the importance of safe driving.

We’d love to have you join us in raising awareness, funds, and hope. Together, we can make Victoria’s roads safer for everyone.
