Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and all that he did to advance racial equity, promote peace, instill hope, and inspire economic justice, we are full today with reflection. Reflections about humanity. Reflections about courage. And reflections about we can best carry forward his work in our own lives—today and every day.

On January 15th, the day that would've been Dr. King’s 96th birthday, the INSPIREquity Campaign launched - a campaign we’re beyond proud to be in partnership with. As you spend today reflecting, we invite you to consider pledging to redistribute 1% of your net worth over the next 3 years to Black-led organizations that are working to close the racial wealth gap.

57 years after his assassination, many of the challenges Dr. King addressed are still with us. As he wrote in Letter from a Birmingham Jail, “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”. In the spirit of building a beloved community that upholds the values Dr. King dreamed of, INSPIREquity exists to serve as a platform to connect individuals with organizations that are expanding access to education, home and business ownership, and other wealth building pathways for Black people in the United States.

If you have any questions about the Campaign or how to get involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

With love and gratitude,

Mikeya Griffin
Executive Director
