Scottish Government publishes response to EPC reform consultation

Scotland to Introduce Radical Changes to EPCs in 2026

The Scottish Government has released their response/outcome to the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Reform consultation, a consultation originally put to industry back in 2023. The document confirms the planned introduction of new ratings, a redesign to the certificate and a reduction in the validity period, which are all due to be introduced in line with the release of the Home Energy Model (due in 2026).

Join the Clean Heat Manufacturing Factsheets Launch at NMIS

Scottish Enterprise is organising a launch of their Clean Heat Manufacturing Factsheets at the National Manufacturing Institute for Scotland on the morning of 12 March 2025. This event will explore how we can maximise Scottish manufacturing content in this growing market. This will build upon the six Manufacturing Factsheets prepared by specialist manufacturing consultancy HSSMI and Arup Group for Scottish Enterprise.

This is a must attend event for those currently involved in manufacturing, machine shops and fabrication solutions for energy efficiency and heat for buildings or working in adjacent industries. Register today and be part of this journey toward industry advancement and sustainability.
