Westwood Village honors the legacy of
UCLA Professor Donald Shoup
Westwood Village remembers UCLA Professor Donald Shoup, whose visionary work on parking reshaped our community. His research on Broxton Ave demonstrated how smart parking policies could reduce congestion and breathe new life into urban spaces. As a member of the Design Review Board, he played a key role in shaping the Village we know today.
We’ll miss his insight, humor, and dedication to better cities. Rest in peace, Shoup Dogg—your legacy continues to inspire.
