Water for Kherson

After russia's destruction of the Kakhovka dam caused the largest man-made ecological catastrophe since Chernobyl, our focus has been on Kherson. During the flooding, with your help, we donated a motorboat and life jackets to first responders. Once the flood waters receded, the donation was transferred to the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces. Then after it became clear that access to clean water was the greatest need, we delivered 100 million liters of clean water via water filter distributions.

And, of course, pizza! Surrounded by destruction and shelling, in clear view of russian occupied territory across the Dnipro River, we were greeted with warmth and gratitude by residents as we made them pizza no different than in Naples, Italy. The children in Kherson's villages haven't seen pizza since the full-scale invasion began, so it's our hope that they will always remember our visit.

Donor Spotlight: Ciao

We are deeply thankful for Ciao's generous donation of tomatoes and their support for Ukrainian children. Approved for Neapolitan pizza by our partner, the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, Ciao tomatoes is used by some of the best pizzaioli in the world. We were also grateful when they sponsored our Children's Day event this year. It's such a privilege for our favorite tomatoes to also be produced by such an incredible family. Grazie mille!

Help Fund Our New Scale!

After launching our initiative to expand the number of pizzas we can serve Ukrainians through large in-kind donations from some of the best brands in the pizza industry, we now need your help! With a new scale comes new expenses, and opportunities!

To date we have introduced more than 10,000 in-need Ukrainians to the art, history, significance, technique, and taste of Neapolitan pizza. Now we are tripling our capacity, which means purchasing capital that can't be donated. So please consider supporting us via the button below, thank you!

Scaling Further in Milan

Last Spring, having exhibited at Pizza Expo in Las Vegas and attending the TuttoFood exhibit in Milan, we reduced costs significantly with in-kind donations. Now we're attending HostMilano to seek deeper partnerships to expand our mobility, logistics, scale, and reach in Ukraine.

Pizza for Ukraine Goes to Washington

We will be attending the Ukrainian Action Summit in Washington DC to help keep the aid flowing to Ukraine. The current stalemate on Capital Hill risks a deeper crisis. Call your representatives, show your support for Ukraine, they count every phone call.

On the Ground in Kherson: My Experience

"Kherson can only be described as an alien world. Locals go about life under constant shelling. They experienced the mountain top of horror when russia invaded, then came down to the mathematics of terrorism after they were liberated. It's not the front lines, it's the terror lines. Every other minute there's a whistle or a vroom over your head. Either close or distant, you hear the thud. Residents survive under this probability.

The word often used in Ukraine is "normal". After 600 days since this new normal began, nothing is surprising, so it's hard to imagine anything will truly change. Putin signed up for a 10 year campaign, thinking it would only last a week. Living with our support for Ukraine should be our new normal. I remind everyone of a quote by American poet Jack Kerouac, 'If moderation is a fault, then indifference is a crime.'"
