To Our Dearest Friends,
It's been a little while, hasn't it? Life has been quite a whirlwind on our end, and I'm filled with gratitude as I sit down to write this email to you.
First and foremost, thank you from the depths of our hearts for your unwavering support. You might have noticed that my son James has been taking the lead in our kitchen and at our jazz dinner events. He's been doing a wonderful job, ensuring that every meal and every note we send your way is filled with love and care. Of course, we always appreciate you feedback, to keep gauging where we in food quality, timeliness and overall quality service.
As for me, well, I've been keeping busy with three online jobs. Why, you ask? It's all about bringing my other kids here, to this beautiful place we call home. I'm working hard to save up, hoping to reunite with them before Thanksgiving, or maybe even before the twinkling lights of Christmas grace our streets. That's my dream, and your support means the world in making it come true.
This year, we're celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Jazz Society of Ecuador. It's a project I helped kickstart just a few months after arriving here. Our mission remains unchanged – to serve you delicious dinners and share the magic of world-class jazz.
As we step into the last quarter of 2023, our promise is to continue delivering the same exceptional quality you've come to love. We'll keep delighting your taste buds and soothing your souls with our jazz melodies.
In a world that sometimes feels like it's spinning a bit too fast, we find solace in the serenity of Cuenca, Ecuador. It's a place that offers a welcome respite from the chaos of the outside world, and we're grateful to share this haven with you.
With the holiday season just around the corner – from elections to Halloween, Fiesta de Cuenca, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the welcoming of 2024 – we're excited to be part of your celebrations, big or small.
