Dear Parents and Carers,
 
Many of you will be aware of a very serious after-school incident which occurred last week. I am very aware that this issue has become public through footage that has been circulating, and like me, you will have found this distressing to see. I would like to thank those in the community who have been in contact with us in support, and to raise their concerns. I think it is important that you are all aware that as a College we have taken this issue extremely seriously and that you are assured that my team of staff have dealt with this incident swiftly.
 
As I have made clear, we do not tolerate bullying in any form, and I want you to know that I have made the decision to permanently exclude one of our students. The police are investigating the incident, for which they have our full support. They have issued their own statement in which they rightly ask that people refrain from sharing footage of the incident.
 
I can reassure you that we will continue to ensure that our College is a safe and secure environment for all students, at all times. Thank you for all your support in this matter and if you have any further questions, please contact me.
