Deeper
Sunday 8 October at 7.00pm
Deeper is an opportunity for everyone to gather together for a time of seeking God and being open to the Holy Spirit, in worship, sharing together and ministering to each other, all in an informal and relaxed way. This time we will also be sharing communion as part of our worship. All are welcome.

Running in parallel with the preaching series on "What we believe", the new library display features books on understanding and explaining our faith.

Together Events for the Autumn Term
A reminder that the Harvest Meal and Ceilidh takes place on this Saturday 30 September from 6.30-9.00pm. Contact the office as soon as possible if you haven't booked and would like to come.

Help wanted at The Beacon Centre
Saturday 7 October | 10.00am until 4.00pm
We would like to complete the work started by the volunteers from Urban and Civic painting the corridors and rooms used by Foodbank so they can move back in. Mainly painting but other smaller tasks are also needed around the place such as putting up signs and some carpentry and tiling. 2 specialist skills we need are a metal detectorist for a small searching job and someone who has an angle grinder to remove some stubborn metal posts. He joins Daniel Beckett (our Lead Pastor), Carolyn Keats (our Associate Pastor) and our other Trustees: John Collinson, Joe George, Jo Hitchins, Sue Houghton, Brett Mickelburgh, and Andrew Shefford.

Open Doors Standing Strong
This Saturday (30 September)
The C3 Church, Brooks Road, Cambridge will be hosting a Standing Strong regional gathering with Open Doors – and you’re invited! This is an amazing opportunity to meet persecuted Christians from around the world and hear their stories first-hand. Join Open Doors – and Christians from across the UK and Ireland – to worship, pray and discover how God is working through our brothers and sisters who are risking everything for Christ. C3 is hosting the Midlands East Standing Strong gathering, and Elijah Ali from Iraq will be speaking and sharing his story. The day runs from 10.00am (doors open from 9.30am) to 2.30pm. We ask that you do NOT park in East Chadley Lane or Lancaster Way and please also be careful not to park in front of the bus stop at the main road end of Tudor Road! Please check this separate e-mail which gives details of available free parking places in the locality and details of how to get a permit for the car park if you need one.
