Broadview Community and Sports Hub nears completion

The size and scale of the new Broadview Community and Sports Hub is taking presence on the western boundary of the Broadview Oval/Yarnta Tutu Yarta, as completion of the new facility quickly approaches.

There's been significant progress in recent months. The external façade is substantially complete and settling into the park and oval surrounds. Internally, the functional areas are well advanced with wall linings, tiling and ceilings complete. Painting is underway on level 1, and joinery installation has commenced.

The function spaces on the upper level have been formed with an operable wall dividing the two spaces. These flexible spaces that can be either a large, open-plan area suitable for birthday or corporate functions, or a smaller room suitable for community meetings, not-for-profit events, or an off-site corporate team event. To learn more about hiring the new hub, please visit the link below.

This first stage of works scheduled for completion by the end of October 2023. Once completed, Stage 2 will commence, which includes demolition of the existing Broadview Football Club building and construction of the northern and southern carparks.

Stage 2 is scheduled for completion in January 2024.
