On September 30, 2010, our beloved Father Stephanous answered the Lord's call to serve at Saint Mary and Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in the greater Indianapolis area.
Thirteen years of non-stop giving of love and care to the Indy Copts. Fr. Stephanous is indeed a gift from God, through his love, care, service, and prayers the greater Indianapolis area congregation has quadrupled during this time. Fr. Stephanous started the service at the original Indianapolis church located at 800 E. 110th Street, Indianapolis Indiana, he oversaw the building of the new church starting with placing the Cornerstone in July of 2014 with H.G. Bishop Saraphim (Monk-Fr. Saraphim El-Souriany at that time) to move to the new and finished building starting with the Nativity Feast Liturgy in 2018.
Abouna Stephanous, you are loved and appreciated more than you know! God Bless your service, and many years to come, and reward you many folds with the intersessions of the Theotokos Saint Mary, Saint Mark the Evangelist, and the prayers of H.H. Pope Tawadros II and his partner in the Apostolic Service H.G. Bishop Saraphim, and your brother in our Church Abouna Zosima Soryal.
