NCSP-Register notifications returning

The NCSP-Register team will soon begin reintroducing NCSP-Register notifications. ‘Notifications’ is the term used to describe all automated communications (sent as physical letters) from the Register to participants, including those related to:

  • newly enrolled;

  • eligibility;

  • regular recalls and reminders; and

  • clinical recalls and reminders.

Notifications will be phased in from mid-late October 2023, first for regular recalls and reminders to those in priority groups who are not enrolled in primary care; this will be followed by notifications for those who become newly eligible for screening.

We will continue working with the sector and share additional information as we continue to develop NCSP-Register notifications capability over the coming months.

Maintaining participant privacy

It’s important to keep in mind that personal and private participant information should only ever be sent using your PMS, Whaihua, or the NCSP-Register. Please don’t send private information via email.

You can always reach us or find support using the channels listed below for clinical and technical questions and, of course, information is available 24/7 on the Te Whatu Ora website.

You may have noticed that we are using the hpvscreen@health.govt.nz email address less and less when we notify you of where to send questions or seek support.  You can continue to use that address if you’d like to send a question about the programme to one of the implementation team members; however, this address won’t always be monitored or supported at the level of the contact methods listed below.

Referring back to eLearning modules

Do you wish you could revisit a topic, or individual section, within an eLearning module without having to work through the whole thing? Well, you can!

Our eLearning modules have been designed so once you have completed them you can return to individual sections of the modules without having to move through from start to finish. So, if you feel like a brush up on a topic would be of help but you only have a little time—be sure to check it out and jump right into the content you’re after.

Additional promotional materials now available

We’ve added some new items for your use to the Provider Toolkits on our website. Be sure to check it out!

‘Go live’ information Pack 4 update

We’ve heard you and we’ve listened: the promised post-’go live’ information pack 4 will be held until a later date. We know there’s been a lot of new information to digest and hope this brief update is ‘just enough’ in the interim.
