Dear CustOMER,
OK, I'm just going to say it out loud: REMORANDOM is a celebration of curiosity and invention; and just happens to be THE PERFECT GIFT for friends, team members and clients.
Over night we received an enquiry from someone looking to customise a quantity of RR#1. He writes: "I work in tech research. My role is to provide insights and future vision, etc. for my clients, so figured a physical book would be refreshing - and it keeps on theme with the idea of providing insights and telling stories." And then this morning we received an order for 64 copies (2 cartons) from long time Melbourne CustOMER Dave Deveny for distribution to "friends, staff and clients" of his Cuckoo Creative brand communications agency.
Book customisation ideas would include: enclosing your own postcard (Dave's solution), applying a sticker to the inside cover (what we suggested for the tech researcher), and the enclosure of a printed bookmark containing your message. FYI we use Vistaprint HERE.
Also, yesterday I attended the SXSW Sydney conference and got to meet Rohit Bhargava the founder of the Non-Obvious Company. He agreed that the randomness of RR would be an effective way to "get people out of their algorithm"; so, not just a source of interest and delight, but also potentially a way to trigger fresh thinking and invention. Yes!
So, if this sounds potentially interesting to you, then I would get onto it ASAP, as a couple of big orders could leave us short of copies as we approach the end of the year.
The ordering process is self-service. Discounts are factored in to the higher quantities e.g. if you order 32, the unit price drops from $40 to $28. Start playing with quantities HERE.
Cheers,
Remo with Jane Turner and Augie outside Gertrude & Alice on the weekend
