Dear Friend,

Over the past few days, I have been horrified by the atrocities committed by Hamas. Over 1,000 people have died in Israel, making this the largest slaughtering of Jews since the Holocaust. This is appalling.

This is a moment where all New Yorkers can come together to stand for peace and condemn these attacks. As a proud Jew and a daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I was honored to join thousands of New Yorkers on October 10th in support of Israel to denounce the loss of life caused by these terrorist acts. It is critical that we continue to stand together in the face of hate and violence.

Many have asked how they can help. One way is to donate to United Hatzalah, a volunteer EMS operation. As the violence continues to affect families and communities, our city will stand in support of the victims and against the perpetrators of these unspeakable acts.
