STUDENT NEWS

Thank you to Everyone Who Has Supported the University of Maryland's NearSpace Team This Year: The Texas Trip Was a Success!

The University of Maryland NearSpace Team just completed a successful trip to Texas the weekend of October 14 to launch two balloons into the path of totality as part of UMD's participation in the Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project (NEBP).

They still have one more trip ahead to Indiana in April 2024, and the team could use your support to complete their final mission, and ensure that all participating students can travel to the launch site on the day of the pending solar eclipse.
