🍁 VHL Canada synchronous asynchronous communication
If you haven't heard of them, these are just technical (conceptual) terms.Synchronous (S): live one on one, e.g. phone or video call, texting at same time like a "conversation". Asynchronous (A): Not present at same time, exchanging: e.g. Emails, text with time in between responses, messages. *
Our weekly group chats could be between various members "live" at the same time interaction (S) or there are drop-ins so they'll leave a message (A), etc.
One-to-one or individual support could be emails and text messages(A) or "live" chattng or texting (S).
Academic and work settings depend on these interactions/exchanges.**
