Gimnig is a professional facilitator who supports groups, whether they're forming or already living in cohousing. With the bonus of her lived experience as a cohousing resident, this makes her presentation one you will not want to miss!

Karen Gimnig is a relationship coach with a focus on group process and community. Karen has lived in cohousing in Georgia and Oregon and supported groups across the country as they build and live together in cohousing. She also worked for the Cohousing Association of the US for several years.

Gimnig coauthored the The Cooperative Culture Handbook with Yana Ludwig, making many of the concepts and skills she teaches in her classes and workshops available in book form.

She currently lives in Anacortes WA with her husband Jamie. They enjoy hiking and sailing through all the beauty of the Puget Sound.
