Thank you, friends, Shabbat Shalom, and greetings to you all.

Well, I certainly did not expect to be issuing another email so quickly after the last one, but the cowardly attack and purposeful slaughter of innocent civilians warrants a comment.

When will enough be enough?
Not since the Yom Kippur War of 1973, and on its anniversary yet, has there been such a sneak attack – not just on Israel – but anyone.

To choose a holy time for a multi-pronged attack by two terrorist nations speaks volumes about the purpose, the desire, and the intent of this attack.  Hatred knows no limits, and cowardice no bounds. Rape, murder, and terror are the tools of the trade.

Like the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, the surprise attack on the north and south of Israel by a split terrorist group with only one goal – the complete destruction and eradication of the state of Israel and the Jewish people with murder and kidnapping as a method.

This was a pure attack on civilians, not on military installations.  This was not an act of war.  This was a start to another genocide.  The people who orchestrated and carried this out want nothing more than the complete death and removal of all Jews, not just in Israel but throughout the Middle East, and the easiest targets are the innocent civilians, not the soldiers who could fight.

Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north seek one thing, and they are funded not just by Iran but by all the antisemitic nations and governments of the world, funding and providing money under pretended “humanitarian” purposes.

I have been in those regions.  If not none, then almost none of the money supplied goes to the well-being of the people.  It goes to war and hate and weapons.

These people are not fighting for anything other than the death and destruction of Israel.  These people are the true nazis of the world.

Calling people in North America or Europe nazis because you don’t like them and want to vilify them is simple rhetoric and downplays what that term means and represents.  These attacks on the true innocents must stop.  Women, children, and the elderly – the groups chosen for special protection in the bible are the biggest targets of these attacks.  They are the pawns used.

These terror groups must be stopped, not protected.

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to check in with any I know there and those I know who have family there, and thankfully all are safe.

And I have heard from many of you who share the disgust and outrage of such events and the foolishness of constant calls for peace and cease fire from “both sides.”

There is no “both sides”.  This was a one-sided attack that warrants defense, protection, and response.

And thank you, Rob, for your concern – and here is someone, not Jewish, but who loves the show, gave me the honor of conducting his wedding, served in the Canadian military, and because his kids support peace and coexistence for all, are subject to anti-Semitic attacks at school.

This is not 1930 Germany.  This is now; this is here.  We are 80 years from the Holocaust and only minutes from the next attempt.

The world was an eyewitness to an attack to maim, mutilate, and slaughter, and yet, where is the outrage?

What will be the response?  Not just the Israeli response, but the world response?  Where is the voice, the outcry, the help for the hostages taken and held in tunnels?

As of now, almost all major airlines have suspended all flights to Israel; most tours will have been canceled; most tours for the coming year will be canceled due to fear, and ongoing business deals will be left in limbo.

The economic, social, and psychological destruction goes far beyond the material destruction, and I fear that in the coming days, the narrative will be turned on Israel and away from the terrorists who believe in their misguided martyrdom.

It is time to stop pretending this is not an invasion.  It is time to stop pretending this is about Palestinian treatment.  It is time to see this for what it is, and it is time to stand up for Israel and for ourselves and the belief in goodness, decency, and peace.
