Community Partner
Makers have been busy over at Glenn Creek Nature Preserve. They worked clean up days to prepare the site for a new fence, built the fence, and are making final preparations to create and install the sign lettering. Thank you to Morgan for leading the team and Morgan, Corey, Jay and the whole crew that has worked through the heat to beautify this shared nature space.

Youth Outreach
Cathy, Josh, Morgan, Michael, Corinne, and Susan volunteered their time to create these massive Base Ten Blocks for Drew Charter School. It was amazing to watch the creative porblem solving these blocks inspired. We hope they bring innovative energy into math lessons too!

This is our second time creating laser cut looms for Paint Love to share with local school children. The kids learn the science of environmental sustainability, while creating art for their schools with these little gems. Thank you to Sandra and the power of the Thunder Laser for making these looms possible!

Maker Spotlight
You may have noticed this exciting new addition to the space recently. Megan renovated her Little Free Art Gallery in the space and inquired if it could find it's new home in front of Decatur Makers.
