Tip of the month:
Now that summer is over and fall is definitely here, I know that I'm getting the feeling that much of 2023 has flown by.
My thoughts now turn to what can I still get done this year, because it's less than 10 weeks until things grind to a halt.
That also brings up the Holidays and what we can do to prepare for some useful and productive family time together.
If you can start getting input from family members to see how they'd like to pitch in and spread the load, now's the time to start working on that.
What's New:
I am planning on reprising my role as the distributor of Canadian flag stickers to those who identify as Canadian, and hopefully I won't run out like I did last year.
After that it looks like my travel schedule will slow down a but I've already got my 2024 calendar out and I'm looking forward to everything it will bring.
Working with enterprising families as they prepare to transition to the next generation, as I’ve been doing for the past decade, I’m continually amazed at the different challenges this work throws up at me.

My Baby, My Heir
There is something about reflecting on the past and dreaming about the future that can get us excited. When we specifically involve our family members in these thoughts, it can be even more remarkable.
Now if only we could make sure that the past memories and future dreams were all positive!
