Hi everyone,

Congrats on getting through the first quarter of the year! This last Sunday, October 29, we ran our annual SIMC 10, a mock AMC 10 competition.

UPCOMING EVENTS

• SIMC will be competing at Berkeley Math Tournament this Saturday, November 4. Wish our team members best of luck 🙏

• The AMC 10/12 A and B are coming up on November 8 and November 14. Good luck to all who are taking the test!

• Tentatively scheduled for 4:30 PM PST on December 10, SIMC will be running a panel about math summer camps. Please fill out our interest form to pre-fill any questions and indicate your interest, and stay tuned for an email with more information.

• And finally, the SIMC Circle articles for this month will be online soon! In the meantime, feel free to browse existing articles.

REGULAR SIMC EVENTS

• We’re trying to find a better time to schedule our Weekly SIMC Hangouts. Please indicate your availability through this Google Form.

• The Problem of the Day series continues–stay up to date with the most recent POTD in our Discord server.

At our in-person event, we also handed out Jane Street and AoPS merchandise to winners. Don’t forget to register for the SIMC 8/SIME when more information is released, to get the chance to win more merch, and a free Mathematica subscription!
