From the Principal’s Desk

As we get closer to the culmination of another memorable school year, there's so much to be thankful for and celebrate!

A Heartfelt Thank You

A big thanks to everyone involved in the successful organisation and execution of the Matric Award Ceremony and the Valedictory Service. The dedication and effort that went into these events are a testament to the spirit of our school community.

Class of 2023

Congratulations to all our matric award winners. Your achievements reflect your passion, commitment, and resilience throughout your time here. As you prepare for your final examinations, remember that your RGHS family are rooting for you. We believe in every one of you and wish you only the best.

Football Fun

The football match between our first and second teams against the Rondebosch Boys' High School was a novel and exciting event. While the scores and tactics mattered, what was more enriching was the camaraderie, fun, and lessons learned on and off the field. Matches like these show the true spirit of sportsmanship.

UDUMO 2023

Thank you to Ms Thone and our school choir for your outstanding contribution to the Udumo event at Stellenbosch University this past weekend. Your commitment and musicality are much appreciated.  A big thank you to all of our learners who acted as ushers at the event; without you things would not have run as smoothly as they did.

Water Polo Success

Well done to our U19 Water Polo Team for securing a commendable third place at the Stayers Tournament. The fierce competition and your dedicated performance make us all proud. To all our water polo players - we're cheering for you as you dive into the games this coming weekend.

Summer Sports Updates

Our summer sports teams are well into the competitive season. With tennis, indoor hockey, swimming, and touch rugby teams showcasing their skills and determination each week. We are thrilled by your progress and anticipate the achievements they will bring to our school in the coming months.

As an RGHS community our collective efforts, support, and celebrations shape the vibrant and nurturing culture of Rustenburg Girls' High School.
